Our Journey

Our forest development begins in March 2025, marking the start of an ambitious, sustainable plantation project designed to restore land productivity, strengthen local ecosystems, and support long-term rural development.

We are establishing a diversified mix of high-performance and climate-resilient species, including:

  • Eucalyptus grandis

  • Grandis × Urophylla hybrid clones (G×U)

  • Pinus Elliottii

  • Hybrid Pinus Elliottii × Caribaea

These species were carefully selected for their growth potential, adaptability, and suitability for both timber and long-cycle forestry investment. Each planting phase represents a step toward building a resilient and sustainable forestry operation for future generations.

Early Growth Results

Our initial field inventory shows strong early performance. The first G×U hybrid eucalyptus clones surpassed 1.90 meters in height just six months after planting, demonstrating vigorous early growth and excellent site adaptation.

These results are fully in line with commercial productivity benchmarks observed in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, one of the region’s leading forestry hubs. The data reinforces the long-term growth potential of our plantation and validates our species selection and land preparation strategy.

Technology Application

In this early phase, we are testing a range of eucalyptus and pine species to identify those with the strongest local adaptation and long-term yield potential. Alongside species trials, we are also evaluating different fertilizer input mixes to optimize soil nutrition and maximize plantation productivity. All implementation steps—from land preparation to planting, fertilization, and early silviculture—are guided by leading forestry consultants from South Africa and Brazil, ensuring that the project applies best-practice, data-driven methodologies from the outset.

Rooted in Sustainable Growth

At Fazenda Floresta, we nurture forests in Brazil and Mozambique, blending business excellence with local community care.

Their commitment to local development is inspiring.
