About

Mother Company: Fazenda Floresta Exploração Florestal, Agrícola e Pecuária Ltda., Brazil — a family-owned agriculture and forestry business established in 1976. With nearly five decades of experience in sustainable land management, the company has built a long tradition of responsible forestry, soil stewardship, and rural development.

Expansion to Mozambique: In July 2024, the company created its Mozambican subsidiary with the objective of establishing a large-scale, sustainable forest operation that integrates eucalyptus and pine plantations with environmental conservation and local economic development.

Current Footprint:

  • About 3000 hectares under management.

  • Greenfield investment: Over 400 hectares already planted.

The project is designed to build a modern, profitable but resilient forestry operation that contributes to climate goals, biodiversity protection, and long-term prosperity for surrounding communities.

Strategic Location

  • Ease of transport: The farm sits next to the N200, a high-quality paved road, ensuring reliable year-round access.

  • Proximity to Export Infrastructure: Only 106 km from the Port of Maputo, operated by DB Ports, offering efficient regional and international logistics.

  • Access to Forestry Value Chain: Located 8 km from the South African border, providing immediate access to one of the region’s most advanced forestry supply chains.

  • Connectivity to Major Export Hub: Positioned 275 km from Richards Bay, one of South Africa’s key ports for wood, pulp, and cellulose exports.
